Primary Prevention and Counseling Seminar
DATE:2021-11-17Our institution held the second 2021 primary prevention and counseling seminar on November 15 and 17. In the first session, instructor Xu, Zhen-Yu from Shu-Te University was invited to give a lecture on “Intimacy and Violence in the Digital Age – Revenge Pornography.” The lecture was very informative and effectively improved the mental health of the troops. The participating students even took the initiative to share what they learned and how they benefitted greatly from it. In the second session, instructor Lu, Ming-feng from Kaohsiung’s Teacher Chang Foundation was invited to give a lecture on “Stress Adjustment – Learning to be Optimistic.” Through a lively and interactive approach, she shared with leaders and cadres at all levels how to deal with stress. She led the participants to learn about stress and how to relieve tension in their work and life. Finally, Colonel Yang, the commissioner of education, and Colonel Qiu, the director of Political Affairs and Warfare, presented certificates of appreciation to the two lecturers, bringing the seminar to a successful conclusion.
