On February 25, 2015, Pin-Shou Ting, the Vice President of Shih Chien University, led 49 administrative supervisors and students to visit the R.O.C. Air Force Academy for national defense education exchanges. They were received by Yan-Ting Chang, the superintendent of the Academy. A seminar on school operation and enrollment was held with the Academy’s Head of Academic Affairs, Head of Student Affairs, Deputy Head of General Affairs, Director of Educational Division and relevant administrators, in order to exchange opinions and experiences with Shih Chien University’s administrative supervisors. The Academy also presented a brief on the enrollment of Regular Flight Officer Classes and Reserve Officers Training Corps, hoping to assist the University in promoting military education and encouraging their students to enroll, so the R.O.C. Air Force may benefit from additional talents. After the seminar, the visitors were shown the AT-3 and T-34C airplanes which are used in pilot training. Cadets and aircraft technicians explained the features of these planes and offered some basic aviation knowledge, to give the visitors a better understanding of how the Academy trains its pilots.
