At-3 instrument flight trainer(IFT):
The AT-3 IFT consists of an instructor station, cockpit station, electronics enclosure, projector and visual screen. The IFT is used by the instructor to train students in the AT-3 IFT system.
The AT-3 IFT simulates AT-3 aircraft and is used to provide training and familiarization to personnel within a high fidelity cockpit environment. The trainer allows the student to practice normal operations, emergency conditions, flight and navigational procedures within the four areas of training, cockpit familiarization, checklist procedures, flight procedures and navigation procedures. The IFT integrates a high fidelity cockpit trainer and visual screen with a instructor workstation which allows the instructor to control the training session.
