DATE:2021-12-22Our marching band was invited to participate in the “2021 Kaohsiung Military Dependents’ Villages Carnival” held by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government. Cheers resounded like rolls of thunder at the venue, which was grand and magnificent.
Gangshan is an important city for the Air Force, and the Air Force Academy is the cradle of many children of Miqiao who had lofty aspirations. Military dependents’ villages are also an important part of the culture of the Air Force. Xing Village is a preserved military dependents’ village of the Air Force. Every brick and tile is a remnant of the changes of the times. It is also the location for filming the TV series, “A Touch of Green”!
Our marching band was invited to participate in this event. The performance started with the sound of beautiful music that accompanied the aligned steps of the military school students, showing how vigorous, energetic, and fired with boundless enthusiasm they were. The wonderful performance also received enthusiastic support from the audience. One has to be there in person to feel how grand and magnificent the atmosphere was. This was also a great opportunity to showcase the results of the marching band’s hard work and practice!
