Associate Professor Yen-chu Liang of Dept. of Aeronautics and Astronautics invited to give a speech at Dept. of Applied Geoinformatics, CNU
DATE:2015-04-01Dr. Liang began the speech by referring to the R.O.C. Air Force Academy cadets’ relief in the ‘88 (Typhoon Morakot) Flood. At that time, the cadets helped to clear the silt left by the flooding at the Chia Nan University of Pharmacy & Science’s library basement. The work was quite tortuous due to the odor of dead fish in the airtight space and the silt all over the cadets’ body. Their devotion truly touched CNU’s students present at the speech. The speech also covered issues such as the environment and changes of outer space, the space race and space debris, which motivated the students present to raise a number of questions. Their questions were interesting and diverse, fully achieving the purpose of exchanges between the two schools.
